Manifest Anatomy

Four score and fifty bodies ago we asked not what these cell bodies did for us but what we could do for their organelles and other such essential operational structures and that was a turning point, the revelation essential to a forward march toward transhuman essentials.

Requests are not commands. Psychology is not biology. I wonder sometimes about the worth of emotion and whether to bother with pondering. A part of me is made of steel and thinks only of efficiency. This is the part that anorexia, the anxiety, the ever-desire to ever-better comes from. Another is made of pure flesh and thinks only of fleeting feeling. Here we find sex cravings, libido, smiles and sex toys, friendship and fetishship (what I'm trying to say is that this the source of those bite marks, in a roundabout way). Beast and machine may be polar opposites, but they are necessary to mesh for one to survive.

There is nothing worse for a brain than to be split between many minds, save for dementia, syphylis, meningitis, blunt force trauma or a bullet or three.
