Watch The Cars That Pass By

So many silences unbroken, today,
such strict rules left unspoken,
so much to call news.

I guess I was mistaken in assuming
we'd shared more than a sheltered excitement
and you will forgive me being bitter
as long as you don't have to.

Thing is, the better half of us isn't aware
of who we've been jerking around,
and that's a damn shame, isn't it.

gamut, 2012

it's all sick-sweet
trances and
i've been drawing commas

everywhere

just to pause the
end.

five people i'm in love with
and

zero
here to hold:

you'd think cygnus might
be kinder
with this
balance

but i'm too sick-sweet enthralled
now
to question all

Explain the skies. Explain that hunger
hiding behind your belly, so clear and blue
you can't lay down more than one step

my peacoat is not
double-breasted,
but I turn up the collar anyway
against the world.

these are skinny times-
the hours we plan and the hours we scrape

enough of me is gone that I do not
gamble, anymore.

When was the last time someone held the door for you, and then asked you how your day was going because they truly meant it and actually wanted to know the answer? When was the last time?

21412.

A number that may not seem like much, but always makes me think of you. The way it is the same, frontwards, backwards. 21412.

Days like this always make me think of you, but I don’t know if you know that. I wonder if you think of me, too. Think. Do you think of me, too?

Hollow Scene [Dear You]

Today was another lonely day, tonight was another lonely night, and undoubtedly tomorrow will be another lonely morrow, but this is the last time I'm going to [publicly] moan about how long it's taking you to get here. It sure is taking you long enough, though. If a man can't hold on without an everything to hold onto, and you take his everything away, how long does he keep trying? That's a question I'm going to answer.
